Alright, y’all. Now that we call East Texas “home,” we are on the look out for fun new family friendly activities in this great state!

YesterLand Farm is located in Canton, Texas. I’ve driven by this place quite a few times on my way to and from Dallas, and I was just so curious to see what it was all about! I mean, it just LOOKS fun. It is located literally RIGHT off of 1-20, about one hour east of Dallas.

The farm is family run (I love that!) and offers a full day of family fun! Rollercoasters, petting zoo, carnival rides, gem mining, pig races, live entertainment, pony rides, face painting….you name it, they’ve got it. Let’s not forget to mention the endless amount of spots for photo opportunities (moms just LOVE these!) They really do a great job of setting up beautiful backdrops for family pictures!

We took advantage of the Fall Festival where there were pumpkins and hay bales at every turn, with some propped up along vintage trucks. *All the fall feels.* The kids love the corn maze and the “Cavity Creator” candy cannon. Yes, a candy cannon. A few times throughout the afternoon, the cannon would literally shoot candy into the sky and candy would rain down on the crowd below. It was hysterical.

Our kids LOVED the rides in the Amazement Park. Other favorites were face painting, apple canons, and gem mining.

YesterLand Farm opens again at the end of November for Christmas Playland! Imagine everything I mentioned above, but decorated for Christmas! They also offer pick-your-own Christmas trees. Santa will be around on the weekends for photos too!

Tickets are on sale NOW for their Christmas Playland! I highly recommend purchasing in advance to save some money. The tickets are good for ANY weekend they are open, which is great if you need to stay flexible with your schedule. Anyone ages 3-93 will need a ticket!

Tree purchases: Open November 29-December 15, weekdays 1:30-5:30pm and weekends 9am-5:30pm.
